Houston Ice Sports Coalition is working to bring a new two-sheet ice facility to Central / West Houston, creating opportunities for figure skating, hockey, recreational skating, and competitive events.
We are now raising funds to advance the next phase of project development, including professional design, engineering, and planning services. Your contribution helps turn our vision into a reality.
Houston ISC is a Texas non-profit organization in the process of a 501(c)(3) application, working to provide Houstonians with an economically sustainable, year-round community facility.
This is a preliminary mockup of a barebones ice rink. This is not a finished plan, nor does it reflect any final product of HISC.
The Opportunity
The Opportunity
The closure of the Memorial City Ice Rink displaced thousands of weekly skaters and cost local jobs. Houston ISC is launching a community ice rink project, anchoring the city’s ice sports and attracting major events.
